Bars are very initmidating places for people who haven’t spent much time in them. They are always filled with people who already have their little groups, and breaking into those groups can be a challenge.
Here’s some tips to make any bar feel more like a party at your house. Make it your party, and you’ll be surprised how much more fun you have, and how attractive that is to the girls.
When you enter the bar, say Hi to the bouncers. Smile. Joke with them. Introduce yourself. And ask them if they want a soda or water or anything from the bar. Just this little touch of friendliness will make them really like you.
When you get in the bar, head to the bar and get some drinks (whatever you like drinking), and when you do, ask the bartender if he wants a shot.
I worked in bars for years, and I can tell you there were damn few people who came in and were pleasant, friendly, and tried to do sometnhing for me instead of just trying to see what they could get for themselves. Bouncers and bartenders really appreciate the effort when you show you understand they are working hard.
They will remember you, and they will be good to you. Plus, you’ll feel like the fucking man just by being magnanimous and generous, and it will show when you’re moving through the place.
Which brings me to the last point. Whether alone or with others, don’t get yourself stuck in one place. Keep moving and keep smiling and try to talk to as many people as you can. Make the room into your party and you’ll relax and settle into it.
